For college sports fans, is any block better than 33rd street at the University of Pennsylvania? From the hallowed halls of the Palestra to the historic bleachers of Franklin Field, Penn boasts a rich and unique athletic tradition that has united the campus for over 100 years.

Updated by Dave Zeitlin, a frequent Gazette contributor and former sports editor of the Daily Pennsylvanian, The Gazette Sports Blog will strive to be a destination for Penn sports fans and a voice for the school’s passionate alumni base. It will focus on all of the athletic teams at Penn, mixing in interviews with coaches, athletes and alumni, as well as game analysis, historical facts and other fun items about the Quakers.
